Inclusion Team
We have a dedicated Inclusion Team that work closely to ensure children’s needs are identified and support is put into place. The team consists of:
- Deputy Headteacher / Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (Rachel Mellor)
- SENCO and Deputy SENCO (Natalie Boyd and Sally Tyson)
- Designated Safeguarding Lead (Rebecca Golding)
- Attendance Officer (Jackie Stocks)
- Family Support Worker (Liz Morrison)
- Learning Mentor (Mike Francis)
- Mental Health Lead (Jen Evans)
- Inclusion Team Link Governor (Alma Shaw)
Our team are available to support any child and their families. If you feel you need support in any way, please ask to speak to one of us. You can contact us via the school office or pass a message on with your child’s class teacher. We are able to provide support in many different areas, including:
- Behaviour
- SEND
- Safeguarding and Child Protection
- Attendance
- Family Support (including sleep support, behaviour/routines at home, signposting to advice agencies, parent workshops/training and more)
- Mentoring (including social skills, mental health, expressing and regulating emotions, bereavement and more)
- Mental Health (advice and signposting to external agencies to help support children’s mental health needs)
