Learning Mentors
We are very fortunate
at Leamington to have two learning mentors on
our staff. I would like to take this opportunity
to introduce you to Iris kelleher and Steve Harper.
Iris and Steve's role
is to remove any barriers to learning for our
children. This means that they are involved in
a variety of activities. They run the breakfast
club so that parents can go to work.
They monitor attendance
and support children and families where children's
attendance or punctuality is poor.
They also run various
clubs and work with children who need support
in anger management, bereavement and bullying
issues. They are involved with everything concerning
children's welfare. Parents can always talk to
Iris and Steve whenever they feel support is needed.
