Boys reading
Club
We hold a boy's book
club at lunch time every Tuesday. The club is
held to promote reading among boys in Years 3
and 4. The club started last year with Year 3
and the boys enjoyed it so much they have continued
to come along with this year's new Year 3 intake!
We have books specifically
aimed at boys and complete activities relating
to them. We also do speaking and listening activities
when the boys speak about a book they have read.
Recently the boys also created a banner to advertise
our Book Week (5th - 11th October) which is now
displayed in the junior hall.
