Visit
to the Library
Year 5 pupils
had a visit to the library in Liverpool city
centre. They took part in story telling which
Im sure they will use it in their literacy

Healthy
Schools Bus
Year 6 pupils
were taken onto the Healthy Schools Bus, provided
by Everton Football Club. They looked at how
to keep themselves healthy through exercise
and healthy eating. Click

Skipping
workshop
All children in
key stage 2 have taken part in a skipping
workshop where they were taught different
skills and techniques of skipping.Click

Reading
Week
This week our
school has taken part in reading book week.
All children have been completing different
activities throughout this week. Activities
completed are book reviews, designing blurbs
and book covers.All
children and staff took part in fancy dress
this week and all outfits were fantastic and
took a lot of time and effort so thank you

Operation
Christmas Child
- In our school this
term we have been trying to raise awareness
of what the Samaritan's Purse charity do every
year. They meet the critical needs of victims
of war, poverty, famine, disease and natural
disaster. As a school we collected 133 boxes,
which is fantastic! Click

Anti-bullying
week
- As a school we
have been focusing on anti-bullying, mainly
looking at cyber bullying and what chidlren
should do if this was to ever happen. Click

Year
6 visit the National Waterways museum
- Year 6 recently
went on a trip to the National Waterways Museum
in Ellesmere Port. Here they enjoyed lots of
actvities that realted to their World War II
topic that they have been covering this term.

Dancing
at St John Bosco
- Our exrta curricular
dance group took part in a dance even at St
John Bosco. Here children had worked hard to
perform a routine together. They were amazing
and were a credit to our school. Click

Year
3 visit the museum

Year 3 went to
Liverpool World Museum on Monday 30th November.
They had a fantastic time and were great representatives
of our school. They visited the Ancient Egyptian
exhibition to help them with their study of
Ancient Egyptians. Click

Tudor
day with year 5
- Our year 5 have
recently completed a day, living like the Tudors.
They celebrated through song and dance. They
also had the opportunity to dig in to a mighty
Tudor feast. All our children enjoyed the activity
and had lots of fun! . Click

Egyptain
day with year 3
- To celebrate their
Ancient Egyptian topic, Year 3 held an Egyptian
day. All of the pupils and staff dressed as
Ancient Egyptians (or mummies!) and had a day
of Egyptian themed activities, finished with
an Egyptian feast. Click

We are
Writers
- During the last
half term as a whole school we have collaborated
in writing poetry about all different topics.
They were all entered in to a book. This was
then sold at the book fair. A big thank you
to Mrs Evans and Mrs Brimage for making this

at Leamington
- At Leamington we
have been completing lots and lots of Christmas

Chef
James visits year 3
- On Thursday 14th
January, Year 3 had a visit from Chef James.
He came to school and spent the morning with
Year 3. They had lots of fun! They learned about
healthy eating, the different tastes and about
using all our senses to taste food properly.

Captain
Carrot - Field Agent
- On Wednesday, we
had a visit from Captain Carrot who was a field
agent looking at the importance of eating healthily
and getting the right vitamins and minerals
in our bodies. He told us about how eating 5
a day and drinking plenty of water is really
vital for a healthy life. Click

6 tag rugby
- Year 6 children
had a session of tag rugby. Children were taught
new skills on how to hold the rugby ball, how
the ball can be passed and completed different
challenges to help them become a great tag rugby
