Spanish
Here at Leamington
we have fun learning Spanish. MFL (Modern Foreign
Languages) is taught to children in Key Stage
2 in 30 -45 minute sessions every week.
Key Stage 1 children
are given opportunities to attend an after school
class during the year.
This is specialist teaching from a native speaker
as part of a service level agreement and is always
interactive to make it fun.
An integrated approach to the foreign language
is encouraged within the primary
curriculum, which allows teachers to develop learning
on a little-and-often basis.
Leamington Community Primary are also involved
with Hope University College in accepting Modern
Foreign Language students on an annual basis.
These students are given opportunities to work
in all three Key Stages.
