Religious
Education takes its place alongside all the other
subject areas of the curriculum in playing a part
in the personal, social and moral development
of the child. We use the Liverpool Agreed Syllabus
throughout the school as a basis for Religious
Education provision.
The teaching
of RE at Leamington covers knowledge, experience,
skills and attitudes. As children progress through
the school they meet with a variety of learning
experiences that are suitable for particular ages.
While the main emphasis of the programme of study
is Christianity, we also teach about Islam, Hinduism
and Judaism.
