History
History is
taught throughout our school. Each term we cover
a differen topic. These range from the Tudors
to World War II. Children enjoy history topics
and get lost within them.
Children
have the opportunity to go trips which enrich
their learning experience. This gives them a focus
and gives them first hand experience.
History is
taught over a themed approach. This theme is the
taken over as many lesson as we can. By using
this  approach,
it allows chidlren to find out a lot more information
and encourages them to complete independent research.
We have saw
some fantastic ideas brought to life in lessons
and assemblies which inlcude Tudor dance, Egyptian
feasts and an invasion by the Romans throughout
our classrooms.
