Year 3 Greek Day

Children in year 3 celebrated the end of their topic on the Greeks, with a day dedicated to just that. They had a feast of Greek food and danced to traditional Greek music. All chidlren and teachers had a fabulous day. Click Here to read more.

A visit from the Lord Mayor

We have had a visit from the Lord Mayor. He had a tour of our school with Mrs Egerton Jones and a group of children. We were then lucky enough to ask him questions about his role as Lord Mayor and how he became Lord Mayor.

Celebrating Leamington's 80th Birthday

We celebrated our school birthday on Friday 2nd July this term. It was a great day celebrated with a picnic, dancing and singing. Click here to read more.

Fairtrade Week

At Leamington we looked at the way in which we could become a fairtrade school. We looked at what products were available to us, how we can purchase these products. Children discovered the working conditions of where these products such as bananas and coffee come from and now understand the importance of using fairtrade products. Children got to take part in lots of different activites. More information to come.

Welcome to Leamington Community Primary

Leamington Community Primary School is a large school set in the Liverpool suburbs of Norris Green. It was founded in 1930 and has witnessed three generations of families pass through its doors.

We regularly receive letters from past pupils describing days in the life of pre and post war Liverpool children. Despite this legacy of the past, we continually strive to provide the most up to date, innovative and motivational opportunities for children, staff and parents alike.

In 2007, we were awarded the accolade of the Chris Gaffney Award for innovative practice in inclusion, the Inclusion Award at advanced level, the National Healthy School award and the Basic Skills award.

The curriculum we provide is designed to inspire as well as develop our children's potential. We are proud of the environment we have created and our children's achievements. Everyone is welcome across the doorstep of Leamington.
